very light reading December 29, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
read this book really quickly. nothing is that touching, and there are better dog books out there. some good dog pics (on every other page!) throughout, but not very deep or great writing.
change of heart December 29, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I myself am not a pet owner at present. After reading this book I must say i am a changed person. I have a 3 year old son that i feel I am denying an important part of lifes lesson if I don't enrich his life with a pet. Thank you for this book. I also experienced personal growth from reading Tony Brown's book "Happy Guide to a Short Life". Another must read.
LIKE MY BEAU December 29, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Fast delivery as I wanted something to read on vacation but ended up crying (as did my husband)when reading the book. Way too much like the circumstances we are facing with our own dog but will say it was well presented and written with compassion. Won't be reading it again for a while.
Thank you Anna Quindlen! December 28, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a wonderful book and particularly helpful to anyone with a frail senior dog. Thank you Anna Quindlen.
Good Dog Stay December 28, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book was a gift for my daughter who is a dog lover. Although she has not had a chance to read it yet, from the reviews on TV, I think she will enjoy it, especially since she had to put her beloved dog to sleep.
