 Great as an Intro to Poms June 12, 2008
I'll be honest, by the time I bought this book I had already done a lot of research on the breed online. I knew I was planning on getting a Pom and wanted all the info I could get my hands on. This book didn't really tell me anything breed specific that I didn't already know. So, if you aren't a google sleuth... it's a fabulous intro to the breed and dog ownership in general. If you want to save your money though do a lot of reading online and join some forums... they will educate you just as much.

This book is fantastic. I got my first Pom earlier this year, and have been collecting a library of Pom books. This one is by far the best. It has pretty much everything you need to know about owning & caring for a Pom. Every once in a while I cross reference to another Pom book, but generally this one is right on with what is best & most up to date! Very informative without being too biased, too.
