This book provides comprhensive detail of breed standards and Lab care. This book is a must for anyone who owns or wants to buy a Labrador. The book provides great detail for the Labrador breed stanadard, as well as provides you with direction for showing and breeding.

I purchased this book before I picked my first puppy. Lots of great info on the breed: what to look for, who to purchase from, plus an incredible selection of high-quality pictures to whet your appetite!

I highly recommend this book for labrador enthusiasts. The book focuses on the show labrador and has beautiful photographs of the breed. The chapters cover care, breeding, showing, and an overview of top kennels all over the world. A feast for the eyes!!

contains a lot of information on the breed's history, standards and maintainance from puppy to adulthood. The part that I like best is the show ring part where the author described some of the well-known kennels from Europe, USA, Canada, Sweeden, Finland, and others. It also contained some accomplishments of some of the most influential labs from all over the world. Great Book!!!
