The BEST Lab Book April 8, 2002 22 out of 23 found this review helpful
I just recently got a Yellow Lab Puppy and was given this book as a present. It is absolutely the best book on Labs. I have found answers to all the questions I have had about him and learned so much about the breed. I was able to take him to the vet with lots of intelligent questions about Lab specific diseases and problems. My vet was so impressed that she got a copy for herself.
Perfect book for any Lab owner March 30, 2002 10 out of 13 found this review helpful
I'm getting my first Lab pup, Suki, from a breeder in a few months, so I serched all over Amazon.com to find the perfect book on raiseing my new puppy and decided this was it. This book covers everything you need to know about raiseing and careing for a Lab, finding a Lab, feeding it, grooming it, training it, and makeing it part of your family. It has the imformation I need to make Suki a happy, healthy Lab.
Books Perfect for you and your Lab to being a new life. October 24, 2001 15 out of 21 found this review helpful
Hi, I'm Toni. I had a 4 year old Lab recently whom passed away. I was very said to have lost her. I only had her for 3 months, but we grew very close in mind and spirit. She was with me 24/7 every day. When she passed away I fell apart. I new she would want me to move on so I looked for several weeks for a new lab. Old and puppy. Not one clicked, finally I found the perfect female cholate puppy. I have never raised one my self and since I have been reading these two books they have helped me in do's and don'ts. What to do to keep the puppy happy and not get board. Where she should sleep and what her needs will be as she grows up. The type of food to give her, what kind of emergency kit to prepare for her in case something happens, toys, games, exercise, housing, how introudce her to other family animals and my children. I feel that these are giving me enough information know to begin my wonderful journey with my new best friend.
