I love this book December 30, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Ugly Pugling is a heartwarming, charming and funny story. It's a great book because it's silmultaneously entertaining to adults and children, and as a teacher to young kids I really appreciate that. The pictures and the design are excellent. I highly recommend this book for dog lovers and non-dog lovers alike.
Wilson the Pug has done it again! December 27, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I picked up a copy of "The Ugly Pugling" at a Pug event in early December, and I must say it's a joy! The story is sweet and the photographs are hilarious and adorable! I have all four Wilson the Pug books, and love them all!
A pug disappointment December 26, 2007 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I own all the Wilson books and look forward to them every Christmas. I must say this Wilson adventure was not up to par. Writing and storyline weak. Even my pug had issues. I mean Santa saving Homer last Christmas was believable but a mastiff? Please I must draw the line! 3 paws down!
A refuge of simple beauty and joy November 29, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
A visit with Wilson the Pug is a refuge of simple beauty and joy. Wilson reflects our most elemental nature - how is it that we see ourselves in the travails of this charming canine? He reminds us to live with an open and accepting heart. Thank you to Nancy Levine for another fresh and engaging story that encourages authenticity and love of life.
Best Wilson Book Yet! November 28, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have fallen in love with Wilson as portrayed by Nancy Levine. I think this is the best Wilson book yet. (If you haven't read the other 3, you must!) Great coffee table book, great gift, great to make you smile on a down day. Timeless tale of a love that defies logic and reason with a lot of humor in the photos and Wilson's editorials. Can't miss on this or any of Nancy Levine and Wilson's books!
