Eve Adamson's Dachshunds For Dummies is the most "reader friendly" introduction to Dachshunds available today. Adamson shows how to choose the right Dachshund for you, how to maintain your Dachshund's good health; feed your Dachshund properly; exercise and entertain your Dachshund; and handle behavioral problems common to the breed. The text is an entertaining as it is informative and a "must" for anyone who owns a Dachshund, or aspires to having one as their own personal animal companion.

As the President of The Dachshund Rescue Web Page, inc., I have long been seeking a book that would be helpful to those individuals who have chosen to add a dachshund to their lives through rescue.
This book is it!
Written in a clear and understandable format, Ms. Adamson has captured the idiosyncracies of this special little breed in a manner that will prove valuable not only to the new dachshund owner, but to the person who has been owned by a dachshund for years.
A copy of this book will be recommended to each new home with every dachshund placed by the organization in the future. It's that valuable a resource!
