Funny how people are threatened by her intelligence! November 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
So funny, how some of you are threatened by her inteligence and common sense logic. She is dead on with what she writes. That's why there are some angry. Seriously, the things people say on here, "she is one-sided" hahaha, duh,...aren't we all.
Lastly, why do you think there is no successful funny liberal radio show talk show host like her, or even Michael Savage, or Rush Limbaugh, who can use reasoning or common sense to make conservatives look silly as democrats? Because conservatism totally makes sense. Peace.
Good Lord, Just Go Away Already! November 25, 2008 "Uttering lines that send liberals into paroxysms of rage, otherwise known as `citing facts,' is the spice of life. When I see the hot spittle flying from their mouths and the veins bulging and pulsing above their eyes, well, that's when I feel truly alive." The opening line is really all that needs to be pointed out. Anyone read any of her other books? Have you noticed how she points this out every time she writes a new book? It's because she's not changing anything that she's saying. It's the same distorted and skewed "citing facts" that Michael Moore tries to push across as fact. It makes one wonder if maybe she's talking to the same four or five people every time she gets that self-righteous, "I know what's best" attitude that pisses people off so badly. For instance: Coulter pins 9/11 on Presidents Clinton and Carter, completely ignoring the 8 years President Reagan was in office pissing off the world, and letting both President Bushes off with a wrist-slap. She also writes off the entire female sex because quite simply, they aren't her and don't think like her. This woman's megalomania is a cause for concern. She would actually like to see women LOSE the right to vote. http://www.observer.com/2007/coulter-culture In the name of all that is holy, sacred or profane, do not buy this book and give this woman a tacit sign of accepting the idiocy she spews.
The Darling Embodiment of Conservative Decay November 24, 2008 I'll keep it quick and simple. I often read material written by conservatives to balance my political rationale. After perusing the extremist viewpoint presented here by Coulter I have to wonder, is this some kind of joke? Has she, a sane and calculating liberal, created this dangerously anti-social persona as a form of internal sabotage to conservative thought? If this theory is true, she is a truly brilliant woman; she epitomizes the foundation of ignorance that has destroyed the Republican Party. If she actually believes this rhetoric of hatred that she advocates, she should be institutionalized. Do people really think like this?
Hey this book is aweful November 19, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
im just gonna cut to the chase. it sucks big ones. i've read some sucky books before but this one takes the cake. don't buy it! you will thank me later. reading this book is a form of brain rape in more advanced societies! the title of this book should be "if people had brains they would stop buying my crappy books". also ann coulture should get a new dress. we get it! you want to look pretty but you look like a transvestite with a blond wig who's suffering from full blown AIDS (i mean that in the kindest way). get a new dress and eat something. if not for you're bulk book buying fan club, then for the children who you skare with you're skeletor like appearance.. anyways in summary if i had to rate this book it would be rated A MILLION THUMBS DOWN!
Ann Coulter tells it like it is November 12, 2008 I devoured this book in about a day and a half. Ms Coulter has gathered a plethora of some of her best columns, interviews and books from the past decade and arranged them by subject under different chapters revealing how ridiculous, out-of-touch, or downright dangerous the Democratic Party has become. I especially love her quote about how it is almost always the best decision to do the exact opposite of what Jimmy Carter says. Great stuff. I can't wait to see what she has to say over the next two years, with Obama and a Congress that no longer has to pretend it wants to cater to the middle.
