Product Description “Uttering lines that send liberals into paroxysms of rage, otherwise known as ‘citing facts,’ is the spice of life. When I see the hot spittle flying from their mouths and the veins bulging and pulsing above their eyes, well, that’s when I feel truly alive.”
So begins If Democrats Had Any Brains, They’d Be Republicans, Ann Coulter’s funniest, most devastating, and, yes, most outrageous book to date.
Coulter has become the brightest star in the conservative firmament thanks to her razor-sharp reasoning and biting wit. Of course, practically any time she opens her mouth, liberal elites denounce Ann, insisting that “She’s gone too far!” and hopefully predicting that this time it will bring a crashing end to her career.
Now you can read all the quotes that have so outraged her enemies and so delighted her legions of fans. More than just the definitive collection of Coulterisms, If Democrats Had Any Brains, They’d Be Republicans includes dozens of brand-new commentaries written by Coulter and hundreds of never-before-published quotations. This is Ann at her best, covering every topic from A to Z. Here you’ll read Coulter’s take on:
• Her politics: “As far as I’m concerned, I’m a middle-of-the-road moderate and the rest of you are crazy.” • Hillary Clinton: “Hillary wants to be the first woman president, which would also make her the first woman in a Clinton administration to sit behind the desk in the Oval Office instead of under it.” • The environment: “God gave us the earth. We have dominion over the plants, the animals, the trees. God said, ‘Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It’s yours.’” • Religion: “It’s become increasingly difficult to distinguish the pronouncements of the Episcopal Church from the latest Madonna video.” • Global warming: “The temperature of the planet has increased about one degree Fahrenheit in the last century. So imagine a summer afternoon when it’s 63 degrees and the next thing you know it’s . . . 64 degrees. Ahhhh!!!! Run for your lives, everybody! Women and children first!” • Gun control: “Mass murderers apparently can’t read, since they are constantly shooting up ‘gun-free zones.’” • Bill Clinton: “Bill Clinton’s library is the first one to ever feature an Adults Only section.” • Illegal aliens: “I am the illegal alien of commentary. I will do the jokes that no one else will do.”
If Democrats Had Any Brains, They’d Be Republicans is a must-have for anyone who loves (or loves to hate) Ann Coulter.

God said, `Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It's yours.' July 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Her quote says it all. The book is a study in the science of polarization. Divide and conquer regardless of the consequences.
Simply Ridiculous July 14, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
As with all things Coulter, this book is ridiculous and appeals to those who think offensive is funny. La Coulter hasn't had an orginal thought in years. If the same old insults appeal to you, buy this book. If you really want something thought provoking and informed, pass it by.
GREAT FUN AT THE LEFTS EXPENSE July 13, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Ann combines her best, and as usual, destroys the Liberals of the Nation. The truth usually hurts so, some seem hurt.
This is one smart, beautiful woman. July 7, 2008 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
Even if Ann were ugly she would still be smart and this would still be a great book. Ann Coulter is a witty and brilliant writer. She's also HOT.
If you're a leftist, socialist, communist, or a news anchor for one of the major networks (ABC, NBC, CBS) you're going to hate this book. Most normal people are going to find it a great read!
Hmmm.... I would describe the book as intelligent, truthful, humorous, funny, interesting, entertaining, thoughtful, accurate, and sometimes downright biting!
If you don't believe me go to the library and read it yourself.
Laughing Matters July 4, 2008 0 out of 6 found this review helpful
Any work that challenges a reader to think begins with five stars.
Five stars in the Universe hardly bespeak unanimity. They encourage that light shines in dark places without question.
IDHABTBR sails across the finish line eons ahead of the competition.
To plummet to a starless void an author need only write something like "Mein Kampf", which guarantees temporal fame and fortune while ineluctably ensuring eternal banishment to the deepest, teeming, vermin-infested, sweltering reaches of Hell.
Books lacking integral elan must, firstly due to the strictures of time, be redressed to four stars.
To submit for public perusal excerpted quotes from one's own published works, interviews, etc., an author immediately risks publication while exposing that elan so vital. A commendation especially poignant on this morning, the Fourth of July, thus easily supports said cluster of luminescence. {This last celebratory remark for those cognizant of the fleeting now leading to our yet future hope amidst sorrowful reflections of the past.}
From itinerant sparks devastating conflagrations have been known to be kindled. Middle stars then obviate their necessary place.
Matters of historical record, documented events punned upon become the 'its' upon which bonfires of vanity feed.
Ms. Coulter proves herself a Woman In Full, by stepping into the center ring of life as the willing target of all.
When blogs are beyond the distant, receding mists, and the Judgment Books are opened unto the publishers of this present age, many of Coulter's conclusions will be confirmed.
Within this mortal coil, traipsing from triumph through seemingly endless mundane muck to tragedy, the reviewer is heartened by such circumspect offerings, aware that, sans morons, one bright morning many of us shall join "He who sits in the heavens [and] shall laugh..." {Psalm 2:4a.}
