Product Description Not since Kliban has there been a cat book this edgy. Edgy as in Bosco, the demonic Siamese with the out-of-focus eyes, razor-sharp fangs, and his own idea of Feng Shui. Or the half-shaved freak named Mr. Fliegel, who looks like a cross between a poodle and a lion. Mr. Fliegel shrugs and says, "Chicks dig me." Or Kato, resplendent in his Three Musketeers outfit: "One for all, blah blah blah . . . now just get me out of this @#%&ing costume!" Or Clark, whose hobby is eating other cats' food. Tina, who somehow always just misses the litter box . . . sucker. And the guilty-looking Clarence, caught with a Barbie doll in flagrante delicto. Clarence's defiant defense: "She was naked when I came in. . . ."
Just as Kliban got us to think about the cat as something far more interesting than an innocuous house pet, and Suzy Becker taught us that cats possess a Buddha-like wisdom (together Cat and All I Need to Know I Learned from My Cat have more than 2.6 million copies in print), Jim Edgar reveals yet another facet of the ever-mesmerizing animal. Brooding, deranged, antisocial, these are kitties with attitude and borderline personality problems--ah, but what hilarious fun it is to read about them. All 244 photographed in terrifying full color in their most unflattering moments, with a quote plus vital stats: name, breed, age, and hobby. Get to know them. Then see if you can ever forget them.

Hilariously Adorable! April 26, 2008 Furrier than the Bad Babies and twice as cute! Just more proof of how animated and sneaky kitties can be.
Cat Owners Beware! April 14, 2008 This is a funny look at cats and their desires, wishes, and secret thoughts. A must-read for cat owners -- you'll never believe what your cat is really thinking!
Stinkin' Hilarious April 13, 2008 This book is stinkin' (not in a litter box sort of way) hilarious! BUT it is NOT FOR CHILDREN. My 10 year-old talked me into buying it for him. The cover looked benign, so I said yes. He was laughing so hard, I asked to look at it. I laughed so hard, I had to take it away from him. It is filled with adult content. It's now in MY bathroom reading basket.

Naughty Kitty! Funny Kitty!!!! April 6, 2008 OK, I'm biased. I love cats. And, having grown up with cats, I'm familiar with their sneakily evil ways! Do not trust the Cat! The Cat will show you who's Boss! All the same, the Cat should be spotlighted for the antics it's capable of... This book does a beautiful job of spotlighting and respecting. Add to that, this book (or, rather, the premise behind it) gives readers the opportunity to participate in the wonder that is Cat. Are you a cat owner? You may send photos of the feline in your life to [...] and know that the author of "Bad Cat" will show him/her in his/her best/worst light! Are you a cat admirer? The author will prove to you, once and for all, that the Cat is to be at once feared and revered. The Cat is in charge. Never doubt that!
For Cat Lovers a Must February 28, 2008 My wife howled when she read this book. Then she had to call all her friends and tell them about it. This book is very good at bringing out the real or imagined personalities of cats and how they put up with us. It shows a lot of 'cattitude'.
