It's a Dog's Life...but It's Your Carpet: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Your Four-Legged Friend May 2, 2008 It's a Dog's Life...but It's Your Carpet: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Your Four-Legged Friend What an outstanding book. written by a brilliant Vet. It is fun to read and worth sharing with others. Now I won't have much to say when I go to the Vet with our critters
Interesting and quick read April 26, 2008 A very interesting and quick read. The book is something that you can just pick up and flip to a random page for some quick reading. It's laid out more like a Q&A than a long narrative (as others have mentioned). Lots of interesting information and written very much like having a casual conversation with a knowledgeable person (as opposed to a long boring lecture). Seems to hit the highlights in response rather than go into too much depth on any one topic. A quick and funny read!
Cons: Something about that smiling dog on the cover freaks me out....
Doggone funny April 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I attended one of Dr. Lee's lectures a couple of years ago and it was great!!! Then one of the Vets I work for told me about this book after meeting Dr. Lee on a trip. As a Veterinary Technician I have LOVED this book. It is an easy and light hearted read yet filled to the brim with the typical questions I receive from clients daily...... and there are answers too!!! This book will definately be recommended to my clients. I am a little worried though as to how I am to maintain my composure in an exam room when one of these questions are posed and all I can think of is the quirky humour in this book. ABSOLUTELY hysterical. 4 paws up!!! Brandy
